In this tutorial I will show you how to make something like this:

I assume you followed the Tard Emoticon and Bouncing Emoticon tutorials, before you started this.

Step 1:

First we’re going to create some effects and objects in pPhotoshop. Open a 50 x 50 document. Make the following things:

Call this layer “Effect1”

Important: Make a clipping mask with the previous (Body) layer by pressing CTRL + ALT + G

Call this layer “Righthand”

Now, if you did all these things here’s what your Layers Palette should look like:

Now, that was a long step, wasn’t it?

Step 2:

Right, now we’ll move it to Imageready to animate it.
We begin with this:

Now we animate it, as for the positions of the objects, try a bit yourself.

Steps 1-10:

Steps 11-20:

Steps 21-30:

Steps 31-40:

Steps 41-50:

Steps 51-60:

Steps 61-63:

Give it some time, don’t rush it. I’m sorry that the animation part isn’t that detailed. I can’t show everything to you, you have to something yourself too so you’ll more and get better. It’s really not that hard. Just look carefully and be realistic. Think of how it would look like if a person turns around.

Now if everything went well, your final product should look like the image below:
