Create a realistic award seal using adobe photoshop.

Create a new document. Using your custom shapes tool

draw out an award seal. (The seal’s color does not matter since we will be covering it with a gradient overlay).

Double click on your layer. After the layer style window appears, fill in the following properties:

This is what you should have so far:

Now we need to add in a gradient overlay. Open the layer style window again (by double clicking on your layer). Add in the following properties:

The first gradient color is yellow, and the second color is orange.

Create a new layer above this one. Use the text tool and type in your text you’d like in your seal. (I’ve used font type: IMPACT for the sample below)
