Quick Emo / Goth Makeover
Whether you’re just trying to see how you’d look in a different style, or you’re messing with a friend (or enemy’s) picture for laughs, changing someone from a “normal” look to a “goth” look is both fun and easy.
In this Photoshop tutorial, I will step you through some easy techniques that will allow you to quickly and easily recreate this effect on your own photographs.

We’ll start with her eyes, and create a new layer. We’ll set the opacity of this layer 85% and use a black brush to color in around her eyes. Once we’ve got it how we want it, we’ll use Filter > Blur > Box Blur with the Radius set to 20px to smooth out the “makeup”:
Moving on, let’s create another new layer. This time, let’s choose a white brush with the opacity of the brush set to 7%. We’ll paint over her entire face to give it a more pale complexion:
Let’s create another new layer for her lips. We’ll repeat the process that we did with the eyes.
For her hair, create a new layer and set the Blending Mode to overlay. I’m going to use pink:

I thought black around the eyes and black lipstick was goth? And a white face? And colored hair? Well, in appearance I mean. I do believe goth goes beyond appearance, but appearance is what we’re discussing. Anyhow, so extreme goths aren’t actually goth? You can’t wear a lot of makeup? I DO! And my white powder is whiter than hers. What are you supposed to look like then? She’s scary, she’s freakish, she’s goth! I’m reminded of when I went to school and all the goths thought I was a poser. Grow up. She doesn’t look like a clown. Clowns have red noses and lips stretched out like Ronald McDonald. And I always got more attention than those pathetic “goths” did based on how I looked. People were legitimately frightened of me.

he/she just us a a “sample” picture to “show” the difference.. because if you already grab a picture of yours that shows the emotions and the struts, they why the hell.. do you need this tutorial? it wont help you anything at all.. instead of saying something lame, don’t read this one and start doing your own stuffs using your old camera tricks.. think twice before giving damn comments… and for the maker of this tutorial.. good job.. thank you for the tut, helps me alot.. not the same struts and like that.. but it gave me the idea on what to do.. just a lil bit suggestion.. minimize the eyelid with the same colour you use for the eyeliner stuff.. and close the mouth a lil bit..
would avoid that girl like the plague.
